Ijiero did not believe his eyes as he saw the fight go on and slowly he got himself to admit that he might have been wrong about the Romans. At least it seemed like the warriors under their command believed in what they claimed to be the truth. As Geshtian ran up the stairs to fight alongside his men, Ijiero started to move away, walking toward their side of the gate that was still closed at that time. There he joined together with the ten horsemen he had encountered along the way here. He spoke to them in the same Germanic dialect as before and they replied in the same language. The conversation would continue for a while until of course, Geshtian ordered the gate to open. Immediately after 550 horsemen and an elephant charged out and stormed at the attacking forces. What Ijiero saw did not please him at all and even while the last horsemen were still exiting, Ijiero mounted his horse and stormed out. "Spear", he yelled and one of his men gave it to him as he was already riding out. His horse, 'Cataclysm' raced out ahead of the elephant and horsemen, riding toward the group of conscripts who were aiding the wounded. "Bloodthirsty criminals", Ijiero yelled out loud while preparing to throw the spear. At the last moment before he got to the group, his horse stopped, turning around to face the elephant and at this moment, Ijiero released the spear, aiming at the nanman warrior riding the beast. "Anyone who has the guts to attack wounded people will die by my blade", Ijiero cried out while drawing his halberd, swinging it around a few times to show he wasn't kidding around, and anyone who got close would be murdered in cold blood. Ijiero's men, who were not fast enough to get ahead of the Geshtian forces were now stuck behind enemy lines and surrendered immediately. "Get out of here", Ijiero commanded of the conscripts who were searching for the wounded while keeping his gaze fixed in front of him, looking his fate in the eye. I feel the need to point out that if myself or Geshtain wished, we could invoke the right to contest your movement from the gate. Because of the nature of your presence, your movement would have been watched closely, and for you to get ahead of my forces and the elephant would require you to be in the same area as I was before the gate opened, so your presence there would have been noticed. Though your actions are noble , they are a bit foolish because now you stand between me and my enemy, and I would like to point out that you would not 100% know if we intended to kill the wounded or not. My char never said out loud "kill the wounded" it was third person lip service, so if you went on that, that is the dreadful metagaming people are so fond of using! I say that because we are advancing on the front line, where there are plenty of fighting men, and we would expect the enemy to respond by bringing more men to the front line. The point of such an assault, military wise, would be to force the enemy front line to cave in or be shattered since they are in an awkward position to fight with the movement of the wounded. And lastly, as a Gaul it would really make no sense for that level of compassion for wounded men, as from as far I can tell from my reading of ancient Gaul, their people were very glorific about "dieing in battle" and that sort of thing, plus the medical technology of the day is such that wounded soldiers rarely survived battle anyway.
Point is, don't be surprised if Geshtain or myself tries and stops you before you move through the gate, as we control it with a lot of men. ;D

However I have two things for you. 1.That solider that was offering you a handshake you never responded to. That would arouse sup. about you. 2.That gate is being flooded with men, you would be highly unlikely to be allowed to race thur like that. 3.In not one of my posts did I or Dravin say anything about the wounded. As Dravin pointed out. All that being said, I don't wanna tell you that you can't rp. We need new people and even if you have it out for my land for some reason, I would not want you to quit over it. So ride out you did. Since Dravins attack would have been the one you rode thur the gate on then I think he should make a quick response post. Thanks for playing on the Site Ijero its a shame you won't be joining us.

I would have thought that at this point you would have realized we don't play around when it comes to people crossing us. We gave you every chance. I am sorry it came to this.

The Final CutDravin watched as he charged to battle the site of Ijiero racing to the elephant."That fool must really want to die!!!" Dravin cursed as he pushed on. Already behind him Ijiero's men surrendered and were taken into custody, though they were beat senseless in the process at the fury of the children of Geshtain, for betrayal was one thing the men and women of Utopia despised over all.
Up ahead as Ijiero turned to face the elephant, the riders were able to respond, and they pushed the elephant on to crush the would be hero. For just like everything else, Ijiero apparently had no idea what he was dealing with. Perhaps it was the grief of his past that clouded his judgment, or the fact he was a Gaul that was fighting in China, but whatever the reason the foolish warrior would not have expected what would come next:
The elephant rode forth at him, and as Ijiero aimed his bulky halberd which was not a throwing weapon by far, especially on horse, he would find it impossible to control his horse, for it was a known fact that horses that are unused to the smell of elephants are terrified at their scent and sight, and the one ton mass of red and gray fury that now barred down on the horse would surely send the poor beast into a panic, causing it to rear and try to flee. The riders, meanwhile saw the intent of the warrior and ducked low to the elephant, presenting little to no target and covered their heads. Now it would be near impossible for Ijiero to strike the riders, for the head of the elephant bobbed up and down as it yelled it's rage, and the riders had ample cover.
Ijiero, the fool hardy, would soon pay for his treachery and his hesitation......for if he someone how survied the charge of the elephant, Dravin would soon be on top of him....summary:
Ijiero is in the way of an ancient mac truck. His horse would be very fearful and hard to control, and it would be fair to say that he might even be thrown off. The riders (there are at least two on elephants) have seen him hesitate and have taken cover. Trying to throw a weapon as bulky as a halberd at a moving target that is taken cover will be a feat indeed, for halberds are pole axes, not spears.
Ijiero stated that his men would surrender if confronted, and by that his men were beat unconsciouses as they gave up, and dragged off to be taken into custody. I will point out that the rest of your men are in Yun Nan, in a barrack especially designed to house potential trouble makers, and you have no way of contacting them. Also, I would like to point out here that Ijiero is facing the elephant, and in the fearful state he would not have enough time to turn his horse and ride in the direction of scorp, and even if he could, by the time he did he would be toast, cause he stated he was WAITING for the elephant, so the only other direction for you to possiably go is in MY direction, and well....yeah.... Edit: Also, at this point we HAVE to pause for a battle mod

We definately need losses done here. But keep in mind that in my next post things can change because i have not had the chance to respond to that counter assault. Which, i have a few things i can do.
So, let us take a look at the beginning attacks and decide.

In interest of preserving your life Ijiero, you could have the horse rear up in fear, and throw you from it. While you might sustain injury from being a little trampled, I happen to be a doctor. I doubt Dravin would cut you down unless you attacked his men... Would hate to see another site member leave... god knows we need all the people we can get here.
Just throwing that out there for ya. In context I am saying, I would doctor you up if you like if something happens... Of course, what you do is entirely up to you.

I doubt Dravin would cut you down unless you attacked his men... Would hate to see another site member leave... god knows we need all the people we can get here. Just my 2 cents... what you want to do is entirely up to you. You doubt wrong uncle, I gave this guy every chance to be on the level, and he meta gamed a hair brained move, if he has a problem with death at this point, then tuff luck. No commander in their right mind would let something like this fly. Furthermore I still fail to see why a new player would do something like this at this point, when we made it clear if he steps out of line we would have no problem with killing with him, In char wise. His actions are suspicious to say the least, and he and everyone else has thrown the word
META GAME
at me, but what he has done is just that. We made no open order to kill wounded and the fact that he ignored our wounded, and the fact that these guys are invading us, shows he has alternative motives, for Gauls were fiercely territorial and were some of the few peoples that resisted the Roman invasions tooth and nail, and plus- if your guy hates Romans thats cool, but as I have pointed out in game and out of game, our kingdom is by far not 100% Roman. Most of our force is Nan man , and Chinese. So what ever it is you are hoping to prove, I am sorry but I have a job to do now. If you are on the level and just role playing, thats cool, but unfortunately from my point of view, and Geshtain's you are trying a little too hard to F with us....

Ah, do not forget it is still my turn next. I could always attempt to save him. And don't forget he has a 2 ton pissed off elephant in his and yours face, with a host of men behind him,and your front line is scrambling to move wounded, and you are still very much in arrow range and we have no problem with risking a close quarter volley ;D

Okay, to respond to Cao Ren. We will add you in but wait like 2 rounds as Dravin stated. That seems fair seeing as how i have to defend against an interesting counter and your arrival could most likely end the battle too soon.
I'll work on a post now cuz my adrenaline is pumping and i am ready to kill. This is gonna be tough to re-counter but i have a few ideas.

"Anyone who has the guts to attack wounded people will die by my blade", Ijiero cried out while drawing his halberd, swinging it around a few times to show he wasn't kidding around, and anyone who got close would be murdered in cold blood. Ijiero's men, who were not fast enough to get ahead of the Geshtian forces were now stuck behind enemy lines and surrendered immediatly. "Get out of here", Ijiero commanded of the conscripts who were searching for the wounded while keeping his gaze fixed in front of him, looking his fate in the eye. This is Ijero's last post, and it clearly states that he is holding his halberd, not a spear. Which this does not matter, cause my riders (there are more then one on war elephants) are taking cover and you can not wield two -two handed weapons and operate a horse. Plus any thrown weapon would be off the mark due to your horse being frightend by the elephant.
I will remind you what happend in Alexander the great when he tried this, he missed his throw cause he horse reared up- this is all I am going to say, I am not bitching, just answering his question. No flame please.

Dravin, that's the last paragraph of the post, before that paragraph it says I use a spear. anyway, I'll try to formulate a response to a few things. Keep in mind I'm not posting this with an angry tone! A lot of people think I'm angry when reading my posts. I am not. 1. I am just playing out my char. My char's mother died at the hands of Romans in an attempt to stop my char's father from causing more trouble then he already had caused while defending his territory. This only enraged him further and ultimately got Ijiero's father killed as well. Ijiero also got told everyday, every hour that Romans were evil and had no honor. He was told this by his father all the time. Thus, his hate for Romans. 2. In respons to your metagaming, Ijiero saw an elephant storm at wounded and conscripts trying to help them. Being Belgean, he grew up with fammily. His whole army is his family for him. So he expects the same thing, or at least at a certain level from your enemy (not from Romans btw). Not to mention he thinks attacking the wounded is dishonorable, which is what he thinks you were doing. 3. about the horse gaining on your elephant. Well, elephants can run 50 miles an hour but this one would be clad in iron, bronze and whatnot, making my horse faster. This could be disputed, I might be proven wrong even. 4. umm, what else... Oh yes! I can handle death, I'm not gonna bitch about my char getting killed. I'm a veteran RPer, writer and I hope soon-to-be author. I can't claim that my char can't die. I just want to have fun RPing and if that elephant crashes into me then bad luck for me... I'll just create another character and maybe he'll be a Roman... Though Ill probably keep that for my third.
